My husband sadly died yesterday after a two year battle with PBP. He died the way he wanted at home in my arms. I am devastated but happy he is at peace. I would like to thank the MND association for help and advice and of course the forum for the wealth of information.

So sorry to hear your news Lassie, it is good that you managed to keep him at home at home and be with him.
Take care of yourself X

My mum is hanging in there but she thinks not for long as it is such a struggle, 2.5 years PBP

lots of love, Lucy

Hi Lassie,
Sorry to hear your news. My wife,Irene, died March and the pain is still awful but I am relieved she suffers no more. Try to keep busy and keep family and friends around you.
Don't dwell on the bad times of the recent past but cherish all the good times of that period and beyond.
Smiling photos are good to have about.

Lots of love .

John

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and messages of sympathy. My husband put his affairs in order from the very beginning of his diagnosis. We could then make the most of his precious time left. It was very hard at times but we coped. He made things easy for me by putting everything into joint names so virtually hassle free and no probate.
I hope and pray that one day a cure will be found for this horrible disease. My thoughts are with you all.
