If you are getting a bit cack handed like me and can't handle a bar of soap or a liquid soap thing, i can thoroughly recommend this.
Its a 'dettol no touch', you put your hand underneath and soap comes out. Hey presto, independance is restored.

6.49 from amazon. dettol no touch - amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dettol-Touch-Cucumber-Splash-System/dp/B003U7A5PK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1302253185&sr=8-1)

Hi Patrick

Good idea posting that up. My mum uses a similar one to that- different brand. We are thinking of experimenting with putting shampoo and conditioner in the gadget (i know you are not supposed to refil- but worth a try). She purchased her soap dispenser from Morrisons, will look later tonight what brand it is.

On a similar point, she has a kettle that doesn't need pouring. just filling up with 2 litres of water

just looked on line and this is it: Breville VKJ318 Hot Cup with Variable Dispense 57 (sorry dont know how to paste the link in)

If you cant push the button with your finger to trigger start then it can be pushed with a pencil if you can do that

best wishes
PS love your paintings :)

Hi Luce

Thanks for the info - I've actually been looking for something like this for ages, so here's a link to the product details - Breville VKJ318 Hot Cup (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B002NGNRHC/ref=asc_df_B002NGNRHC2480696/?linkCode=asn&creative=22110&tag=reevoocomtrue-21&creativeASIN=B002NGNRHC) - like Patrick's dispenser also at Amazon (seems to be cheapest on offer and free delivery). There's a very useful product description at the bottom of the page.
