Not heard of that before either Alice;

I did have a lot of pain there when constipated a few years ago. We did not know what to do as it hurt so much. I can only imagine it is something like that.

Hi Terry
Thanks for your reply. We are just kind of confused and don't know where is it coming from. I'm sorry for the pain you went through...
Some doctors said it might be from stress, depression etc. We will get another doctor to look at it.
Lots of love

Hi Alice. My first thought was definitely constipation. Has he been going to the loo ok. This could be the issue or piles maybe.
Hope he gets sorted xx

Is it wind? I know it sounds strange, but wind gets trapped anywhere, maybe try some mint tea or indegestion tabs. Or as my Grandmother would say a glass of hot water. Hope you get it sorted out soon. X

Hi my lovely
It is not a wind. His thing down there hurts so much he can't take it anymore. My mum will call a private doctor to come and see him as it is taking too long for his GP to come along. He is living in Poland and things are much slower than in UK. Thank you ever so much for your reply XXX

Hi Alice,

Take a look at this link (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proctalgia_fugax) and see if it corresponds to your Dad's symptoms.

Not dangerous or MND related, but very uncomfortable. Something to raise with the doctor anyway.

Hi All
Thank you so much for all your support!!! My mum called a specialist doctor and unfortunatley she coudn't come but told her what might help and which medicine to buy. Miracle - it started to help and my dad's poor bum is recovering.
Thanks guys!
