Looking for support in the Manchester area. I'm not coping very well so any help would be appreciated x

Hi Tabby,

If you go to http://www.mndamanchester.org.uk web page you will find contact details. Like my area branch they will have association visitors who will visit you at home. These AV's are the link between patients and the outside world. If you just want someone to talk to they will listen and if you have specific needs the AV will flag it up.

Thanks Barry, I contacted an av but it took ages for them to get back to me by that point things had changed x

That's such a shame Tabby. I know that the two branches I am linked to react quickly to calls for assistance but like any organisation you will get good and bad.

Hi Tabby there is a support group for South Manchester at Alma Lodge in Stockport on 23rd February at 7pm. Hope this helps. Xx
