After 130 years, itís a start finding out a little more about MND, it wonít help us immediately this I know other than through a miracle.

But they badly need more funding as they currently 9 only get 1.6 million a year from fundraising. It badly need public awareness,

hence Iíve wrote to the BBC and ITV to seriously consider adding an MND sufferer into one of the soaps to help the public become more aware to this

Fingers crossed

If they agree I'll buy a hat and eat it! MND is a dirty word on British TV. But I admire you for trying and hope you'll be successful.

Best wishes

MND was on Holby City, the story line can be found on MNDA http://www.mndassociation.org/news_and_events/mnd_on_tv/holby_city/the_story_so.html

Only problem with that Holby City storyline was that the character wasn't in it for long because she chose to end her life. Easy to get people with MND on TV if they're killing themselves! Not so easy to get people living with it on TV...

So true, Sarah, Maybe we should all get together outside downing street pretend to be hooked up to a lethal syringe claiming that we will all kill ourselves if we don't get media attention lol

I'm game Jeannie!

I'd like to see another advert, showing some of us saying a few words about MND. Like the cancer ads. I think the public would really respond to seeing sufferers. But know it's very expensive... :(
