Hi Everyone,

Cuts Watch: My Story

As part of the Cuts Watch campaign, we will soon be launching Cuts Watch: My Story. This involves people with MND telling us their story, in their own words, on a regular basis through a written or video diary. Their diary entries will show how the constant changes and cuts that are happening locally, and even nationally, are impacting them and their families.

Do you have a story to tell?

We are looking for people with MND who would be willing to take part in My Story as a regular contributor either by writing or recording video diaries. As a My Story contributor, you will be helping to show other people in your situation that they are not alone if they are facing similar challenges. You can be an anonymous contributor, if you wish.

Most people find the prospect of writing about their lives daunting, but we are here to help and support you. If you are interested, or know someone who is, then please contact Raj Johal (national campaigns manager) on 020 8551 2152 or email: campaigns@mndassociation.org

For more information on Cuts watch please read our briefing (http://www.mndcampaigns.org/assets/0002/8464/Campaigning_on_a_page_-_CUTS_WATCH.pdf)and visit http://www.mndcampaigns.org/cutswatch

I hope some of you find this of interest,

Hi Robyn,
I've just sent a reply to Raj - I've spent the last month writing a blog of the whole of my wife Carol's journey since diagnosis in 2009.
It took me a long time to get into a place where I could write it down but once I started I found it really helped me.
I'd be happy to get involved.
All the best
