I'm with you guys - would love to see England win but after Sunday and Italy I wouldn't want to have my shirt on them.

    We will see.

To be honest I wasn't aware of the high quality text to speech software till recently. At the same time I know about the developments being made on the speech to text software but as for now results are not quite satisfying. I had to do my science homework to test existing soft but it's too expensive for students.

Please note that I made this comment in 2013!! Technology has made rapid progress since then.

    Hi Larry,

Windows 7 had quite a good system for operating the computer by speech. It was not perfect but I knew of a Mnd chap who wrote loads using it. Handy to have someone proff read it and alter bits.

Could this be it I wonder https://apps.apple.com/us/app/text-t...ch/id712104788

Your mum can try it out and if it's no use, she can ask the SLT for better ones.

I cannot get on with the apps. I use a Boogie board which I find much easier in a face to face situation.
