    Fundraising

    All,

Just reporting that the company I worked for before I got ill raised 6000 pounds in a raffle at their summer ball last night for MND Scotland charity. Some prizes donated by local business. Deeply moved by the support and awareness. Some good people in this world.

    Hi Laila

I went to see some mates who were playing golf organised by a colleague city lawyer. I took along two tickets for Bruce Springsteins concert at Wembley as a prize donation. David decided to auction them instead and raised 500 for MNDA - another player donated 100 to which will be added gift aid as they both completed forms - marvellous

As you say it It does give you a lift !

Since Sept 2011 we have raised about 50000 - fom various event thanks to exceptional friends family and others - I just sit there and admire !

    Cheers

    Rory

That's some serious cash you've both raised. Can't hope to raise anywhere near that with our cake sale for a bunch of poor Civil Servants, but every penny counts :-)

Hah I think this deserves G and Ts all round...as you say Wendy every penny counts...we are doing something on June 21st, I'll let you know how much we raise, although we have 3 charities....mnd, Ian Rennie Hospice at Home and Marie Curie nurses. We are also trying to start a Foundation in my sister's name.....so again I'll keep you posted....now...... where is that slice of lemon?
