    On a completely different note, my bum is sore!!! Does anyone know anything about good pressure cushions for wheelchairs - I have heard about
    Roho cushions but cant afford. Clive, information Guru, do you know anything about this subject?? vanessa

    I have a manual wheelchair from Hertfordsire Wheelchair Services, which is run by NHS Community Health. They provided quite a good cushion which is a sandwich of different foams with memory foam on the top. Have a chat with your local NHS wheelchair service as they may have the solution for you. You can refer yourself and do not need to be referred by your GP.

    Hi Vanessa, I am extremely skinny and my butt is skin and bone. I use the 'Jay lite' gel cushion http://www.jay-seating.com/jay-lite/....asp?locale=uk which was supplied free from wheelchair services or 175 online.

    Yea i looked at them mate, i wish i had that sort of money to spend on one lol. I could get a car for the price of them! still cool though

    Trouble ismost of the ones on eBay looked likely need to be 75 to drive them, it's such a shame you can't get something that actually looks nice for reasonable money,
