    Head support when dozing.

    i have head drop, but do not use my collar when resting. My problem is if I doze off in my chair, I wake up with my head over to find side which gives me a painful neck. I know you can get head supports for wheelchairs, but is there anything available for a chair?

    Hi Trevor, I used to slightly recline jeans chair and then put a small cushion at the base of her neck. We could never have the chair upright as you know she wouldn't wear a collar.

    Hi Trevor;

    There does not seem to be anything made for that, a travelling open collar like the ones they use on planes might help, but try to get a thick one. Something could be made or perhaps velcro two cushions either side.

    Here is an old thread that might help:-

    What about a V pillow or a memory foam neck pillow
