Good to hear from you Lynne. I like you find it difficult to catch up on the forum if you miss a few days. Post when you feel strong enough. Are the curling fingers making it difficult to type? If so have you looked at others communication methods?
Wishing you comfort in the care of the hospice.

    Love from Barry

So lovely to hear from you Lynne, I always loved your 'name' on the forum..Blue Eye Ohio....I bet they're gorgeous blue eye and I bet you know the expression 'eyes are a window to your soul'. I will say a prayer for you,
You always have such encouraging things to say to others on this forum, it is wonderful that you come on all the way from the US of A, like CC and then Marllielene from Australia, it' so lovely to hear from you all.

    Hi Lynne,
Do you feel any better, or are you still tiring easily these days,
never mind Zinc,..what about the other mineral i mentioned on earlier post,..Iron,
Did you get checked out for a deficiency yet, it could give you some extra ziiiiip

Lack of it, is associated with what you complained about, shortness of breath and tiredness,
Don't just accept these two symptoms as ALS,..get it seen to gal!!

Iron is part of hemoglobin, the oxygen-carrying component of the blood. When deficient we tire easily,
partly because our bodies are starved for oxygen.
It is part of myoglobin, which helps muscle cells store oxygen.
Without enough it, ATP (the fuel the body runs on) cannot be properly synthesized.

    Best wishes,
    Ray
