    Stairsteady

    Has anyone tried this or got a view on how useful it might be?

    I can imagine it might help for a while, but as things progress may then not be enough? Thoughts welcome

    James

    Hi James;

    I have seen them before and they would make descending a bit safer. But for me, I would maybe go straight over the top as I go ridged if something happens. Two good handrails are good if your hand/arm strength are good but that would be safer. It just looks a bit expensive for maybe a short period of time.

    Always ash the OT's about things such as that, extra hand rails or stairlifts as there's sometimes finance available.

    Love Terry

    James I don't see how it would cope with dog-leg or U stairs and if you slipped your teeth would get smashed in and for coming down, forget it. And for these reasons,. I'm out. Dude

    The lady finishes climbing and then dropped the bar. That is the scary part and where you are likely to fall . She then nips up 3 stairs like a 10 year old. Still not convinced. Typo on home page.

    I'm not convinced, I don't like the fact that there is no clarity on price, I'm out too.

    We have gone for two hand rails and that seems to work well. But a friend suggested this device. I must admit that the top worries me as well.
