    I need a scrubber!!

tsk, tsk if you thought something else .

I can stand in shower and water wash but unable to soap n apply pressure for a scrub. I wish to maintain independence for as long as poss and those who know me know I can usually find a solution for most things, but can't see a way round this one. Have tried the mrs's fluffy soap thing, flannels etc to no avail, can't squeeze shower gel bottles or rotate soap in hands to lather anymore.

    Anyone got any ingenius suggestions?

I have the same problem as you. I have found that if I squeeze the plastic bottles of soap into little plastic measuring tubs, which are lined up on the bath-seat, before getting into the shower. Once in the shower I pour the liquid from the tubs onto my wash-clothe. Though I can't really open my fingers to grab the clothe, I can hold it against my person and so I do manage to get soap all over with a fair rub.

I hope this works for you

It gets me mad when I'm trying to make a hot drink, just as I'm about to get a spoon full of sugar or coffee out of the jar my nerve twitches and it ends up all over the kitchen bench.

They gave me a bath seat too but I don't want to use it yet, my right side is partially paralysed and my formerly being right handed does not help at all.

Hence I have to use my left hand which too is slowly on its way out, we need a system for soaps shampoos etc similar to what they use in pubs and bars to measure shorts. As for the scrubber have you tried a bathroom loofer

    Hi Adie,

Only a quick reply as I am suppose to be looking for a short break away.

What about a automatic soap dispenser?

Forget about car wash, we now have a body wash http://www.body-washer.de/en/product.php dunno if these are available in UK...check out the videos though not in English.
    Best wishes

I have racked my brains over this and in Tesco you can buy a washing up wand that you put the fairy liquid in ( someone could pre fill this with shower gel) and it has a scrubber on the other end (replace with scrunchy), so now we need to extend this wand and put a scrunchy on the end so it will automatically soap the areas you scrub with it without being to harsh. Just a suggestion xx Ang
