    Roy

Roy has been a Facebook friend for some time. His death has been reported today. He died last night. I see he hasn't been on the forum since last January so may not be known to many. An avid motorbiker he joined in March 2012, 4 weeks after my wife died from this terrible disease. I am sure Terry and Pete will remember him.

    Hi John

I remember Roy as well, if its the same Roy I'm thinking of ... I believe he was very friendly with Rory as well who passed away awhile back, and I think he had fairly young children ?

My condolences to his family and wish them much strength and comfort.

    CCxx

Will be the one you remember cc. Max has posted his condolences on Facebook. Quite a character who stopped posting here sometime ago but was posting on Facebook until a few days ago. Typed out his own death announcement using eyegaze and asked that it be posted on his Facebook page. Very poignant. Tried to copy and paste to here but my tech skills could not manage it. If you are on Facebook he is Roy Payne.

Indeed John, a nice man with quite a sense of humor.

I no longer have Facebook, but good to hear Roy remained active there.

I too remember Roy and I used to laugh at his banter with Rory.

Very sorry to hear the news of Roy's passing John, thanks for letting us know.

Remember just after my Dad passed away from MND he posted a lovely condolence message to me and he was one of my first friends on the Forum.
