Doug had asked Gladys (the glamorous cocktail waitress) to go on a night out with him - that's despite her corking his vintage Bollinger and Barry's vintage Barolo (and she'd left some pips in Debbie's double G & T with ice and a slice!!).

Gladys said that Doug would have been her perfect Knight in shining armour, if she hadn't already booked her place on the ....

I wasn’t at the bar Kayleigh. I was on the dance floor wearing my penguin suit because my walk looks like how the penguin was dancing lol. Mind you that could be after drinking a bottle of Barolo, me not the penguin.

Loved strictly tonight and Blackpool brought back many happy memories from my youth. I would also stay there during my working life and many of the hotels were stuck in an era of the 1960’s.
