On the third day of Christmas my true love sent to me, 3 French hens.

And although I thought they would be delivered as livestock, part of the order must have got lost in translation!! - because I see that a crate of 'les poulets' have been delivered to my hen house, completely plucked and 'oven-ready' LOL.

I have already got plenty of chickens, in the run up to Christmas ...

    http://https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3RDkK1bYQ-8

.. so I will gift 'les poulets' to my 3 wise brothers, who are as musically minded as medieval babes...

... and although my brothers might think they are as handsome as Kings, their knees are as nobbly as these camels' LOL ...

I hope everyone's day goes smoothly.

On the fourth day of Christmas my true love sent to me 4 calling birds .... but I haven't had a call from any of them yet!!

Perhaps I should check if there is any interference on the line?? ... LOL ...

    http://https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_gb6rDgMwO8

... because I need to give my friends (Gavin and Stacey) a call to ask what time they will be stepping into mine this Christmas ...

    http://https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-ISz1Ps4qd4

... and it is their call, but I recall that, this year, they might be arriving in a carpool with James and ?... LOL ...

Sending everyone warm & cosy wishes (rather than irritating cold calls! LOL).

    Thank you Debbie.

Organising the 'Cracker of an Advent Calendar' keeps myelf out of mischief and hopefully I'm still in Santa's good books! (although we haven't got to the 'one for the girls' & 'one for the boys' windows yet! LOL).

As it is a busy time of year for Crackerkayleigh, I find its adventageous to get myelf organised a calendar day in advance - and some festivities for tomorrow's post are already snowballing nicely, under my hat.

It's thirsty work though - is it eggnog o'clock yet? (Ellie or one of the other Eggheads might know?).

    Love

On the fifth day of Christmas my true love sent to me 5 gold rings - and I had expected them all to be for my fingers!

... but where am I supposed to wear a coccyx ring?? LOL ...

    http://https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WjYfPdw0vfk

... and a ring on my doorbell was accompanied by carol singers, whose chiming was as clear and angelic as church bells ...

    http://https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=I6x-pjVL67A

Ding dong merrily on high! - now the ringing in my ears is jingling all the way from Lapland to Las Vegas ... LOL ...

Sending everyone very fond friendship circles of love and hugs,

    Thank you Dina.

Understandably not everyone will be in the mood for an advent calendar (and its contents might not be everyone's cup of tea every day) but thank you for kindly letting me know you are enjoying my version so far.

I enjoy googling ideas but I might have to think more laterally by tomorrow - as when I Googled '6 geese a laying' there was a video-clip listed of 6 pregnant women (and as even the words 'human biology' make me feel iffy, I didn't press play!) and watching geese lay eggs isn't eggsiting enough! (not even if it is the pantomime Goose that laid an eggstravagant golden egg).

Perhaps Crackerkayleigh should put a lid on cracking yokes for now - otherwise it might be eggstremely difficult to find some fresh ones to crack for tomorrow's post! LOL

    Love and hugs

My back has not been so good the last week, I couldn't straighten it Tuesday.

They were playing Christmas songs in the gym when I done some exercises. They were so nice and joyful, won't be saying that in the next week or two.

On the radio this morning was a great song by another fabulous English guy,

Sorry you've had problems with your back Terry. I hope you are not in pain and hopefully your back is going straight now.

You are a diamond with a heart of gold and thanks for rockin' up with that link! I'm glad you're back, as I was missing your magic touch on the music thread - and, myelf, I am lost without Santa's seasonal banter and jolly good taste in jingles.

Take care of yourelf, and have a restful evening by the fire with some roasting chestnuts ...

    Hi Kayleigh.

Perhaps you could use something like “six cheese a-playing” instead?
