Does this mean to are dusting off your Italian phrase book CC,
and is that an aeroplane I saw destined for Italy?
TC will be broken hearted eternally!
CC may be tempted by Barry's chicken shed in Tuscany,
but you had better watch out our Barry!
CC will probably get bored eventually,
and dump you for an Italian gigolo named Giovanni.
    Yes really!
What will happen next in this festive love story?
Will CC be lured away by sweet promises from Barry,
or will she stay faithful to her fun-loving TC?
We will just have to wait and see ....
and in the meantime Merry Christmas to you all, from me!

    Dear Terry,
That song definitely gets you my sympathy,
and plenty of tears from romantic me.
Let's hope that Elvis also pulls at the heart strings of CC,
and that she thinks twice about going away to Italy with sweetie Barry.
I think that she still does love you truly,
and that she is just day-dreaming of Italy.
If truth be told, I don't think she would ever dump you top-bloke TC,
but this tale has more twists and turns to entertain you and me.
It's best wishes and TTFN from me,
as the clock is ticking and it's getting very late I see.
We will just have to wait patiently,
to find out what happens next in this festive love story!

    Hi Kayleigh,

Don’t you ever sleep? I also had a late night as we were celebrating Christmas with our daughter and partner. I will catch up with the program on iplayer as I am shortly leaving for a 200 mile drive north to pick Mum up for Christmas at our house. I will be listening to music all the way.

    Barry xx

    Hi Barry,
I am getting to be a bit of a night owl (must be the excitement of Christmas - and some zany poetry that keeps popping up in my head! ).

It sounds like you have got a busy day - hopefully the journey will go well and you will not be held up by too much traffic on the roads.

I hope you enjoy listening to some good music in the car today. After Fleetwood Mac had been talked about on this thread yesterday, it was a coincidence that I noticed the programme about them on the TV schedules, just as it was about to start. I don't think I know anyone who doesn't like Fleetwood Mac!

Good to hear that your Christmas celebrations are going well already.

Best wishes to you and your family,

    Kayleigh

I think that I do have to be concerned because I'm using them in a light hearted and even possibly a mocking way.

There are a few on the forum that have recently lost their partners and Lv who's lost perhaps more than that, although we hope that the new year will let him be with his son.

    Peace on earth, Terry

    Hi Terry

Just want to let you know that everyone on this forum knows that you are always a kind and thoughtful person, and that you would never post anything with the intention of being insensitive.

There will be many people on this forum who are grieving or may be going through very tough times for different reasons - you are in my thoughts at what must be a very difficult and sad time for you all.

Not so fond of his wife but I do very much like some of John Lennon's songs and speeches.

    Hi Terry

That one is a classic. Another one of my favorites.

Not a fan of his wife either, neither was John Lennon's son.

Interesting fact; Paul McCarthy wrote 'Hey Jude' for John Lennon's son because his parents were divorcing. He was leaving his wife for Yoko Ono
