        Hi Sue,

I'm pleased Steve beat the deadline for the new charge from July. Has he been given the app for predictable?

        Best wishes,
        Barry

            Hi Sue,

Speak to Nina at QMC and she should sort it.

Hi Guys, I've just started Modeltalker but have encountered several technical issues. I have tried to contact the company > [email protected] and it comes back as unknown. Has anyone had similar problems. I've paid the $100 already and assumed this was the best system but it seems overly complicated especially as I have a MacBook. Willing to try something else if its easier. Any ideas ?
              Best wishes Jerry

I had all sorts of problems with the web-based version of the recorder, but when I switched to the stand-alone version MTVR I managed a lot better. There is a link to download MTVR on the ModelTalker web page, under the 'Recording' tab.

I am now making reasonable progress with MTVR (ModelTalker Voice Recorder) and I have recorded 400 of the 1600 sentences required. For forward planning purposes, can anyone tell me what happens when I have completed the sentences and ModelTalker has built my new voice?

                        Hi Martin,

Once you complete your recording you will receive an instruction to upload it to the modeltalker website and following this they will contact you to advise the finished product is ready. I’m not sure about payment arrangements since I did mine when it was free.

I think the charge ($100 = £80) only applies when you want to download your finished voice. You click on the 'Voices' tab then on 'Make Payment'.

I was wondering if any special hardware was needed to play your voice. I've still got pretty good use of my hands but what happens when they start to become unusable?

I downloaded my voice to the Predictable app on my Ipad as recommended by my speach therapist. I'm not using it yet though. It's there when I need it. Lynne
