    Biozoon

Hi. Has anyone used Biozoon for cleaning inside the mouth
Mum has been peg fed for a while and she has botox to dry the saliva which is working well.
We are trying to find something to clean her mouth. I believe this cause a foam that does not dissolve and require swallowing.
    Thanks in advance x

Hi, have you a link for Biozoon? What is it?

I haven't heard of it and am interested to find out more.

    Thanks,
    Ellie.

Haven't heard of a thickening agent being used to clean the mouth - I live and learn!!

I don't know how it would clean the mouth though, I don't see any ingredient which would actively do the cleaning.

Have you tried any of the thickeners available on prescription from mum's GP?

My sister was pointed in that direction. It's a foam the cleans. The doctors or team suggested it. Mum's mouth is terrible and she won't let any one put a tool in to clean it for her.
We can't use liquid as she will choke so we thought we would look and see if any one had used this.

Well, it's certainly worth a try! If nobody posts personal experience of using it and you go ahead and try it, please come back and let us know how it went because it's a common enough issue, so it would be great to have a solution

Hope your mum finds something very soon...

    Thanks,
    Ellie x.
