    Walk to D’feet

Thank you to everyone involved today on the walk. We had 39 walkers and several dogs walking in my local park in Newark and the weather was wonderful. We were represented by members of the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire MNDA plus my family and friends from Barnbygate strollers.

I don’t yet have a total for the sponsorship but it is several hundred pounds. The proceeds are to be shared between the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire branches and I will advise later once I have collected the money.

On behalf of both branches I thank everyone for their donations.

    Regards
    Barry

Good luck with the race Jaxx. If you are taking supporters then advise them to go straight to the finish point in South Shields after they see your start. It gets gridlocked and even though they put on additional public transport it can’t cope with the popularity of the event.

    Best wishes,
    Barry

Hi jax, I may see you there. My two sons are pushing me round in a wheelchair. I think we set off at the back of the very last wave. Good luck.

    Hi Jaxx
I have looked on the JustGiving page and I can't find you ! .

Good luck I hope you have done all the training. My son in law is doing the Manchester Marathon next year for MNDA and he has been training a lot . He can do a half marathon quite easy now but it's the second half that's hard for him.

But it is still difficult if you haven't done much running !

    All the best

    Love Chris
