    Passed away.

I would like to thank everyone on the forum for their help in my posted questions. Reading through the various forums, posts and replies has been beneficial and supportive. Unfortunately it is with great sadness that I am informing you of the death of my beautiful wife Viv. She was diagnosed with MND in February of this year. We were initially told that in conjunction with past medical issues, it appeared that she had a slow progressive form of MND. How wrong this turned out to be ( no blame or disrespect to the medical staff, as a nurse myself I know it is impossible to give a cast iron diagnosis) . By September, Viv was unable to walk more than a few paces , was PEG fed and her speech was very difficult to understand. 26th October I kissed her goodnight and told her as I always did that I loved her. She never woke up again. She is in a much better place now, pain free, probably rocking away to her favourite group Nickleback. Sorry if this upsets anyone, just felt the need to post something. Mark

    Hi Mark,

Please accept my condolences. As you say, Viv is in a better place now and you can look back at happier times in your lives together.
