    PIPs

Steve's PIPs runs out in September 2018. He received forms to fill in before Christmas to review his situation. Of cause has with this disease everything is worse than 2015. We filled it all in stating how he cannot do anything for himself, in a power chair, uses hoists for transfer etc etc. To day we received a letter stating he needs to have an an interview. They will come to the house but what a waste of money surely they know he isn't going to get better only worse. It's a about time we shouldn't have to be put through the stress of all this!!

Anyone else had to do this?

    Sue

    Hi Sue,
    That's an absolute disgrace.
You certainly shouldn't have to go through the stress.
I thought they had accepted MND as an illness which does not get better.
Thankfully they will be coming to your house because the journey to an interview would have been a step too far.
    Thinking of you.

    Hi Sue,

If you and Steve are going to the meeting on Thursday I will talk to you about this. I went through the same process but avoided the interview..

Thanks he is better than he was last week. We have seen GP today and he has another week of antibiotics. He didn't have any breathing issues before this so hopping it doesn't leave him with any. It has been a long and tiring week.

    Sue
