Pink Sorry to state the obvious, but you will be getting a very important item. Sacrificing an armchair is well worth it. I would be lost without my recliner. Dude x.

I know dude. Said I'd give the blocks a try first. Think I'm probably being a bit proud and finding its another thing to give in to.

Pink For proud read stubborn lol. You have identified difficulty, but a recliner now will take of future challenges. I am using my recliner now tipped forward to type on my desk on wheels. I used it to help me on my rollator safely. Good for relaxing in or having a nap. Get one. Dude x

Husband and I have decided to swap sides in bed. After sleeping on same side of bed for 34 this is going to take a lot of getting used to.NRS are coming to change the grab bar type thing I've had on my side to the other side on Thursday. Hopefully I'll get the sheet soon. Thought we'd try this as it will also mean I don't have so far to walk from the stair lift to bed, as well as solving the problem of making sure I can sleep easier on my left side without pulling the pillow from under him on the middle of the night!! Hoping the rise and recline chair will also be sorted soon. Another hurdle sorted. Just wish my wet room would get a move on. They started 2 Jan and still only got a floor, pipe work and doorway bricked up. I am very grateful that a charity is doing it for me but it really is a struggle now going up and down on stair lift to the toilet throughout the day. Also having a bath is tiring and having to wash hair over the kitchen sink!
