    Hi Chimp ;

    It is probably a bad time to start getting false gnashers when you have Mnd.

    Oh, I didn't know that - my knowledge of false teeth is zero!

    Is it because of jaw clenching?

    Yes and over yawning and violent sneezes. If they came dislodged I could well bit down hard on them like I did with the dentist ex finger.

    Guess it probably would not be so bad for others here, especially if they have them already.

    I had a metal plate with 3 teeth on for many years but post MND I couldn’t wear it because it made me gag. Just another problem to get round.

    Hello
    I am going to a new Dentist in a few weeks. I will report back on my experience. I will be going to the Opticians as well in the next few weeks.

    MNDA do a leaflet for dentists. I've passed a copy to my dentist and hygienist.

    Thanks Miranda and Terry for the link. I will take this with me and I hope it will make my extraction pain free but I doubt it.
