Anyone in West Berkshire who is an organiser ?

Anyone in West Berkshire who knows how to organise ?
I'm thinking of doing a 12 or 24 darts marathon in the summer for the mnda but have no idea where to start or how to organise it.
Any help or advice would be a great help
    Thanks
    Tim

    Hi Tim,

If you contact the Reading & W Berks MNDA Branch, they will help you I'm sure (I hope!!)

    Hi Ellie
Spoke to the mnda volunteer yesterday when she visited us, she did say thst she could get the newbury weekly news there and a rep from the mnda to be there if i get it all organised, but unfortunately, like me she wasnt sure how to get the ball rolling, im guessing the very first step would be finding a venue who would be prepared to accomadate me, and if i could get it as a 24 hour event, another three players to take part

    Hi Tim,

In the search function on the MNDA home site if you type in fundraising there is a whole section dedicated to this. There is an online form to complete and MNDA have regional fundraisers who will contact you for advice and help. Good luck with your event. I am doing another walk to D’feet this year.

    Best wishes,
    Barry

    Hi Barry
Thank you, will check it out, I was just amazed that all you hear on the TV is about cancer charities but absolutely nothing about mnd, so thought I'd try to do my bit to help, even minimally, to raise some cash and highlight this cruel disease my wife has been diagnosed with.
Good luck with your walk, stay safe
    All the best
    Tim

Just to put things in perspective guys, MNDA can always benefit from more donations and the money raised annually per head of people living with MND is greater than many of the big charities.
