    Hi Jlc,

Do you have 2 stair rails as this is a short term solution if you have strength in your arms? Long term you will need a stairlift or through the floor lift. There are many posts on the subject if you use the website search function.

    Best wishes,
    Barry
Iím going to do this even if it kills me!

Hi jlc As Barry advises having two handrails is a must have. I have a lift as above link. OT do not like stairlifts. You may to consider if you would be better moving house or fitting wetroom into upstairs bathroom. Think about things now to save rushing in the future. Dude x

    Hi JLC,
talk to your occupational therapist or with the mnd association, i got a couple of stairlift quotes and got funding from mnd association to have it put in as a rental . The process is very quick , i got the stairlift within a week from Direct Stairlifts,
    Cheers,
    Karl

    Hi Karl,

Good to hear that it's been sorted so quickly, just one problem now, trying to keep people off it.
