    Hi Boiler,

    Like all meds, it's a personal choice as to whether or not, one is happy to take them - in this case, antidepressants, especially when prescribed for their side effect of dry mouth.

    There are many people with an MND who don't want to, nor need to, take antidepressants.

    He shouldn't be "forced" into taking them, or any medication.

    Oh boy hope I haven't started anything here!! Hi Dude...he is adamant about antidepressants but thanks for your input and Ellie...he has also been known to say 'never say never!' so we'll see. Thanks x

    I have had the patches for a week now and they have really helped. No side effects.
