    Our very own Michael Palin! Have a fabulous holiday Barry. At least you got on the plane, last year in Madrid we were left in the special assistance boarding area and missed the flight! Had to stay another night, got all costs back in the end but no compensation.

    The joys of flying disabled!
    Hope you all have a good week x

    I stopped the traffic today.

    No it wasn’t my good looks (vanity is mine) but I fell over crossing a road with a high kerb. My wife managed to stop me falling on my face but the compensating pull back left me sitting on my ar**. A strong man helped me up and apart from a sore bum I am okay.

    Onwards and upwards (if only).

    Me to, Pink;

    I give your wife 10 out of 10 and hope she didn't hurt herself. WHEN will you start being more careful, PLEASE Barry, cut out this falling lark.

    Only just seen your post Barry. A scary fall indeed. I'm glad that you were able to get up with the help of a caring hulk. Take care and ditto for your wife who must have had a big shock. Lynne

    Ouch Barry ! Hope you're not too sore and that the fall didn't spoil the holiday for either of you.

    I am also hoping you have a smoother flight home with no bumping down the steps.

    Love Debbie

    Guess what.

    Yes I had the same undignified manual carry up the steps onto the aircraft which was 2 hours late. Things didn’t improve when we got to Birmingham as we sat on the plane for 45 minutes waiting for the ambulift.

    Beam me up Scottie.
    Iím going to do this even if it kills me!
