    Hi B N;

    Sorry to hear about your cramps and maybe some of the previous threads might help a bit. I have taken Quinine before and make sure you drink enough.

    Put Cramp or cramps in the search box for other threads and also have a look at this one:- http://forum.mndassociation.org/show...ighlight=cramp

    I wish for a hot bath as well, just to soak and relax.

    Speak to your doctor, he might be able to arrange treatment and hydrotherapy.

    Love Terry

    Mg spray stopped me getting cramp last night... I think.

    Just wondering about this odd feeling I have in limbs that feels kind of like when you have dead arms and legs except can feel everything?

    Good luck with your nerve conduction tests. They are horrid, but have to be done, with me repeatedly. They don't last long and not as bad when you know what you are in for. I play mind games ie mind over matter, with myself to blank out what's happening. Breathing out when a needle goes in has helped me. I don't know if it's because I'm concentrating on my breathing so less head space for discomfort or its another reason attributable to breathing out. I think that it's worth trying it. Lynne
    ALS diagnosed November 2017, limb onset. For the 4 yrs previously I was losing my ballance.
    I'm staying positive and taking each day as it comes.

    If you blow out it is impossible to tense any muscles so it will help hope that they put pressure around the point the needle goes in too as blunt pain reaches brain before sharp... Giving away my job here I think

    Hello Broken Nails,

    I am so sorry to hear that the Dr said that MND is very likely. This must be a really terrible day for you. I hope that there is someone with you to take care of you and give you lots of hugs. As you have not yet had the scans, we wiill remain hopeful that your confirmed diagnosis turns out to be something other than MND.

    Thinking of you,

    Love
    Kayleigh x
