    On the subject of chemical flushing toilets this one from www.completecareshop.co.uk may be useful. You can also get a frame for support.

    I like that one Barry, it's not as big as the commode and can be hidden downstairs somewhere whereas the chair cant.

    I bought one of those from Go Outdoors as it was on sale about 6 months ago. I took it back a few days later because I couldn't find anywhere local to despose of the chemical waste. So research this before you buy. Lynne

    The toilet we got doesn’t use chemicals, it’s just water and disinfectant. This means I can flush it down the normal toilet

    Aha, that's smashing. It looks like the chemical one that I bought and sent back so might be manufactured by the same company. I wish that I had that information a few months ago. But the council OT and admin ladies are coming out tomorrow to assess me for the adapted bungalow. Hopefully we'll get the go ahead to move very soon. We'll be invited to an open day first. Lynne
