    I am so sorry to hear that, Twinkle;

Don't be too strong, I'm sure Pete wouldn't want that.

    Hugs, Terry

    Dearest Twinkle,

I am so very sorry to hear such sad and heartbreaking news. Your beloved husband was so brave throughout and it must be so devastating for you and your loved ones that he has passed away. Please accept my sincere and deepest condolences.

It is so kind and touching of you to share your husband's name with us. As you know, as your name is Twinkle, I liked to refer to your husband as Mr Twinkle. I did this with affection and because I did not know his name - and from reading your posts on this forum, I always imagined you to be Mr and Mrs Twinkle, a very bubbly and cheerful couple. Although we never usually get to meet the people we exchange messages with on this forum, we can usually get an idea of their personalities from what they write and the way that they write it. From your posts, I can tell that you are a very kind a caring person and that you have a heart of gold. Your devotion to Peter was unwavering and you always made sure that he was cared for and that he was made comfortable. I hope that you can gain some comfort from knowing that you did everything possible that you could do to make sure that he received the right care. I hope that in time the pain of your loss will subside and that all the happy memories of him that you treasure will be of great comfort to you. It sounds like you have a wonderful family and my thoughts are with you and them at this very sad time.

You were so kind to share so much with us on this forum and your positive attitude and determination to do the best that you could for your husband always shone through. As you shared so much with us, I hope you don't mind me sharing a poem that I have written for you.

RIP Peter (affectionately known as Mr Twinkle)
The heavens are blessed with another shining star,
that can be seen twinkling and shining bright from afar.
Your loved ones have a wealth of happy memories to treasure,
precious thoughts of you will live on in their hearts forever.
You will always be the twinkle in your beloved wife's eyes,
as undoubtably she always was in yours, that would be no surprise.
You were brave and courageous and will always be missed,
but cherished and happy memories of you will live on.....
May you rest in peace xx

Love to you and your family,
    Kayleigh x

July 1969 science enabled mankind's first step on the Moon.... over 49 years later and sadly still no scientific breakthrough to cure MND.
Trying to take one day at a time ..... but it's not easy!
