    Christmas Madness !

Well, if Iím going to do something very stressful, I may as well do it 5 days before Christmas, eh

We moved house on Thursday! It all happened very quickly really - we saw a lovely bungalow with a huge garden and a paddock, put our house on the market and it sold very fast, now here we are in a heap of empty boxes!! Weíve moved to the outer suburbs and all of us decided to opt for the extra space and peace & quiet - yes, even the teenagers

School term ended yesterday, so the kids are off for two weeks, as is the hubby, which is great timing really.

The new location suited all bar one of my carers, which is great.

I kind of miss my stair lift, it served me well, but thereís a lot to be said for single-level living with my disabilities. The lovely vendors even offered us access to do a wet room before we closed, so Iíd everything ready from Day 1 - incredibly kind of them (there are other bathrooms, they didnít have to use a Portaloo!!)

Wishing everyone a lovely Christmas and the best 2019 possible.

    Love Ellie xx

So glad that it went well, Ellie,

I hope that you have plenty of big trees to swing around in.

    Thanks for telling us.

    Love Terry

Ellie, that sounds brilliant for you and it's lovely you have the big garden and a paddock too.

It's great you've got your wet room sorted already. We moved last year to a ground floor apartment and although I was sad to leave what was our family home , it is brilliant. Our youngest is still at home and he loves it too. There is level wheelchair access outside and I feel safeish to shuffle inside using my rollator ( oops I am probably temptig fate again!)

It's great you're in for Christmas, even if you're surrounded by boxes because you can make it feel like home.

Wishing everyone a happy Christmas and all best wishes for the new year.

    Ah thanks everyone!

Yes Terry, plenty of trees for me and still in Dublin, just about!

Fru, I was busy making lists and more lists and supervising packing...

    Love Ellie.
