    hi
we have a one cup boiler kettle. The kettle was getting too heavy for Mick. It's really useful but I dont think it boils quite as hot as a kettle, maybe just me!

Thanks for the Wallis tip Kayleigh. As they donít have standalone shops i tend to forget about Wallis.

The Fit and flare dresses are just up my street. Iím looking for something quite summery for the wedding so will keep an eye on Wallis as they get their new stock in.
Hope you have a good day X

    Shrew,
Have a look at the Uccello tipping kettle.
It’s brilliant for anyone who struggles to lift the kettle.

    Hi Terry,

It looks like the tipping kettle in the second picture is the one that Helen recommended:-

    Hi Kayleigh

Thank you in return - you are clearly a dedicated web shopper as I had a look after I saw they were out of stock and couldn't find them anywhere except on eBay where they only had large right hand ones!

    Best

I haven't been able to lift a kettle for a while, i use the breville water boiler with a water filter in, it's wonderful! Piping hot and it even glows blue Our water is very hard, so the filter is essential.
Gripping wise I've lost my thumbs but still have a baby like palm grip, so i use a pair of jewellery pliers for zips etc, along with using tiny black cable ties on the zip tag to create a little loop, my finger on my right hand still works well enough for that. And you know the plastic material that grips really well? I found that the stretch exercise bands the OT gave me are even better to grip jar lids etc!
