    Still Upstairs

Hope I can offer a shred of hope. My husband (who has had MND now for nearly three years) is unable to move anything other than his eyes, sits tipped fully back in his chair whenever possible for comfort and normally lounges to one side terribly, but still manages to sit safely in the stair lift to enable us to use the upstairs bedroom. We only have one reception room and a young family, so to loose this room would destroy our family life, we love to watch a DVD together and I guess it would be hard for them to have friends round if the front room was a hospital room, so long may this last.
