    Compression long socks

    My ankles and feet have been both swelling more and more over the last few weeks.

    I have had the trouble before but many in the left foot and ankle.

    My wife does a lot of running and Monday morning she was wearing the copper compression stockings that Cc sent from America.

    She put them on me and I used them for two days. They have a little more grip than normal ones.

    Not only did they go back to normal but they stayed down for three days.

    So it might be worth trying them just occasionally if you have similar troubles.

    I have since bought copper compression socks from eBay but they aren't the same or as good as the ones from America. The feet are quite big but I will see how they wash.

    That's useful to know, Terry, thank you. I have suffered with swollen feet, ankles and lower legs for years. I'll have a look around and see what I can find.

      Hi Dina;

      I bought these to try:- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/UK-Unisex....c100005.m1851

      Get the smaller ones unless you've got flippers for feet. It might not work so well for you as they've be swollen for some time.

      Also speak to your doctor and specialist team about it as Hospitals quite often have a specialist nurse that deals with these.

          I don't think that they have the compression needed, Dina;

          I hope they do something to help.

          See if you can see a nurse that specializes in it, they will also get ones that are the right size.
