    Emg report

    Hi I was told last emg was midly abnormal so thought it b OK today I received it can anyone tell me what this means, chronic neurogenic changes in fdi high amplitude motor units with reduced firing frequency doesn't sound too normal to me otherwise rest muscles OK sorry neurologist not available

    No my gp doesn't seem to unndestand emg I just feel like no answers from neurologist just get report

    chronic neurogenic changes mean there is a problem. It is observed in all neuropathies, Parkies
    MS, MND, poly etc.etc.

    Thanks i thought all along something wrong it is just one muscle what should I do now

    number two - have a neuro exam

    I have had exam clinical exam all clear I emsid neurologist and she said it is medical talk and I do not have motor neurone I just don't understand it to b honest

    If I can I will post emg but always find those things hard to do
