Fantastic news for you Dina, so pleased for you.

Steve is also coming home next week. Our coordinator from the care company has been to see us today and next Wednesday is the day. Can’t wait. She is doing a home visit tomorrow. Most of the team have been trained on his equipment in house and the final ones will get trained by our MND respiratory/ ventilation nurse on Monday. Care plans will be exchanged and hopefully all will be ok. Just hope that he doesn’t get ill in the meantime. We are having 2 calls a day, morning and evening and 7 nights so I can sleep and should then be refreshed to face the day.

Oh Sue, that is definitely something else to celebrate!!

Getting 7 overnights is fantastic, but necessary - I'm thrilled for you.

Fingers crossed that Steve stays well and can get home to you and the new care package.

    Love to you both,
    Ellie xx

SueB what great news. Getting enough sleep is so important for anybody, but especially carers. Lynne

Wonderful news Sue! I hope everything goes smoothly for Steve's return home and it's good to hear that there will be more help from carers.

Sending love and best wishes to you and Steve,
    Kayleigh x
