    Douglas

    Thank you all on this forum for your help and support. Sadly, Douglas died this morning at 9.30. In the end, it was very quick and very peaceful, he effectively died in his sleep.

    Sorry to hear this, Chrissie;

    You and Douglas have been through such a rough joinery. It is nice to hear that he passed peacefully.

    Thoughts are with you and your family etc.

    I am truly sorry for your loss, Chrissie.

    Douglas managed his last few days as he wanted to, which is testament to his character. He would not have wanted to linger on and you granted him his wish to die peacefully at home, which can't have been easy. He was fortunate to have you love him.

    I wish you much strength over the coming weeks and months.

    RIP Douglas.

    Heartfelt condolences,
    Love Ellie.

    Sorry to hear this Chrisse and please accept my condolences. The one comfort you can take is that you carried out Douglas’s wishes and he was at home with you.

    So sorry Chrissie to hear about the loss of your beloved husband.

    You cared for him with devotion and I hope you have love and support around you. I also hope that, in time, memories of happier times will bring you comfort.

    Love Debbie x
