Spam in the forum

Good morning

This is the second time that I've come to this forum and found the most recent post to be somebody posting spam - in this case the subject of abortion must be distressing to some here.

Does this happen simply because a particular email address is authenticated and then that person posts in this way?

And then you have the job of blocking that identity and deleting the posts?

Hello,

Unfortunately our forum is often the target for various spam accounts. We have a manual spam filter and occasionally one slips through.

If you ever do spot spam on the forum, please report it. These are flagged to the admin account and we will ban the user and delete their posts.
