    Me, me, me! 😘 well done you. Though I did read somewhere about a link between sport and mnd but hey next it will be something else. I used to play my brother at squash but he used to hit me more than the ball. Think he was just getting his own back because I was his big sister. 😐
    cant say I excelled in anything. Know a lot about a lot of things but not a lot about anything in particular.

    Why 2 years in hospital?

      On the contrary Denise, you have fought very hard for Stephen and good parenthood is as challenging as it ever was.

      I was in Salford hospital for two years while the social services found a bed to put in my home. I fear that you will still have a lot of work to do before you will get Stephen settled in a home.

      I continue to make good progress with the app and I have the emailing system sorted so that we can automate rotas and the other stuff mentioned earlier.

        2 years to find a bed!!? How comes? I know your carers call you princess was that to find an appropriate mattress or mattresses to cover the pea (little round green thing) not pee.

        I don't want to speak out of place but it looks like we have found a placement and the nhs are already paying for the room they just need to move him in. Could happen next week. He has a large room with a view of the river tamar. Our mnd nurse used to work there and the placement contact is a really good friend of the care home manager so it looks like all the planets have lined up. Such a relief.

          This might be a daft point to make but after having discussions with others about how dependent we are on electricity and computers I was wondering if there is a back up plan if things go wrong. The other day my daughter went to the wrong ward and was told the computers had gone down but they thought Stephen had been discharged 2 weeks ago. Surprised me as I had visited him the day before. So is there a back up plan in place? I know there is talk about possible shortages this year and this shouldn't happen to vulnerable customers but it could happen. If your app is say able to monitor you from elsewhere are you able to summon help if this goes down?
