Acapela & Apple Mac Issue

Hi Everyone, I encountered a problem downloading the Acapela software this morning on my Apple MC.

THE WARNING WAS:

Acapela Recorder.pkg” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.

This can be got around by going to Systems Preferences/ Security & Privacy/ General

Look at the Allow Apps option at the bottom of the box and allow Acapela Recorder.pkg to load and accept the warning.

You have to check security settings to allow external microphones too, the wonders of Apple. Going to rest now and start slowly and carefully tomorrow.

Old dog new tricks.

Whilst researching talking books for my mother who is partially sighted I discovered a function on my iPad which I was not aware of. It basically allows a document or email to be read out using a synthesised voice. This will prove useful for me when I resume presentations.
