    New app ..speak using your eyes

    A smartphone app called GazeSpeak uses eye movements to predict the words you want to say, allowing people with motor disabilities to communicate faster

    Looks quite basic Dvd;

    But it is a handy size on a smart phone that would allow us to communicate. It would be interesting to hear from those that have tried it.

      Hi Seetie,

      The App is not yet available so there's no feedback. Disappointingly it was trialled on people without ALS/MND - quite bizarre really!

          Hi DVD,

          I think they made a poor choice of presenter for the accompanying video. Speaking at 100mph is not a good example of communication or is it just me with my slowed down app.

          I’m going to do this even if it kills me!

                Thanks Terrry ..It is good to see some companies are at least trying to improve lives of people who have disabilities .. where would we all be if nobody tried .. technology has come a long way and had to be started somewhere .. think how many benefit from aids to help them through MND ..Probably when some of these aids were being built or talked about people probably said" that will never work .." but proved them wrong
