Controlling your windows computer by speech

This chap controlled his windows "7" computer by speech and he wrote this:-

In regard to the speech recognition,
I have used the standard Windows speech recognition integral
to my and presumably your computer. You can access it by
pressing start button, all programs, accessories and then
ease of access - you can enter than in speech recognition
and click on the appropriate buttons for tutorials, etc. You
do need a set of headphones with a microphone to ensure the
computer can hear your commands. Hope this helps.

It might seem crazy to many of us that can't talk but their are others with Mnd that can mainly only talk and don't have any limb movement. For them it is an alternative to "eye gaze" systems.

It will only remain so if new people post and keep us updated on things that work or don't work and tips.

Please post on old threads that are of use so that others see them and feel free to start new subjects and threads.
