    Knee and foot orthotics

    Hi everyone,

    I have a pair of full-length knee and foot orthotics. They are a full length leg brace which encompasses support from the feet to the thigh to enable a person to stand. I am unable to use them any more because my core strength has deteriorated to the point that I cannot stand upright. They were purchased privately so they cannot be returned to the NHS. I was wondering whether there is anyone out there who could possibly use them to save them going to waste. If not can anybody advise if there are other associations which I can donate them to so somebody can benefit from them

    Hi Tony,

    That's very thoughtful of you, thanks and sorry they're no longer suitable for you.

    Are you able to take a photo of them and upload it, or even give us the brand name and type of brace, so people can see what they look like?

    Love Ellie.

      Hi Tony;

      Thanks for offering them and sorry to hear you no longer have the core strength necessary.

      I was going to say the same about a photo and/or a link to where you bought them from.

      Love Terry

        As suggested here is a picture of the leg braces they were purchased from the Ladbroke clinic near Birmingham B39A6475-632B-4C93-8813-73966EC10F51.jpg

            Thanks Tony;

            I guess they were made to fit you and must have been expensive. Did they work and could you move around with them.

            Hope they can be rehoused, Some hospitals do make similar foot/lower leg parts but not the whole thing.

            Just in-case others are interested, what foot size and height are you?

            Love Terry
