    Standing Wheelchair For Sale

    My husband sadly passed away on 7th February 2019.

    We had purchased a Geni standing wheel chair 18 month ago, which he thoroughly enjoyed.

    We paid just under £12,000 for the chair, Navy in colour.

    The chair was purchased from Geni (Easyrise).

    I contacted Geni to ask about the chair, if sold on, the new owner would need to have the chair adjusted to suit the user, this would incur a cost. We hope the reduced sale price will help with this 😊

    This is why, we would like to give someone the opportunity to purchase our chair at a small fee of £4,000, it is as new, service completed last year, no new parts were needed. If you would like to see the chair being used by my late husband, you can click on the link. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YgQIbqwnRlE

    The price isn’t a reflection of the quality of the chair, we just want someone to be able to enjoy the chair, like we did, as we know they can be quite expensive.

    Sorry to hear of your husband, Sammuel's passing;

    I hope you've had plenty of support from family and friends.

    Nice video, I have had Genie wheelchairs for over seven years but didn't get on with my new one bought at a similar time to your one.

    If it doesn't go here then you might consider trying to sell it on ebay, gumtree and Preloved. Ebay's fee's are quite high so allow for that but I think the others are free.

    Best wishes, Terry

      Hi Sammy,

      I am sorry to hear about your husband.

      My name is Tony and I currently suffer from MND. I read with interest on the availability of the wheelchair. Please may I ask how tall was your husband to gauge if the chair is suitable for my needs. If you can make your contact details available we can discuss things further.

      With Best regards,

      Tony

        Hi Tony;

        Sammy's wife has not logged on since the 10th, I guess she will soon.

        I know quite a bit about Genie chairs if you have any general questions, you are welcome to PM me.

        Love Terry

          Hi Terry,

          Many thanks for the information. Is there any way that I can contact Sam’s wife directly. I am aware that I should not post my phone number or email on the forum.
          I would most welcome the information your experiences with this type of wheelchair as it is the first time I have considered using one.

          I previously was able to stand using leg braces but unfortunately my core strength deteriorated.
          If you are able to access my email address or telephone number from the central database I am happy for you to contact me.

          I have just realised that I addressed my initial enquiry to Sammy but upon reading further I now realise that this was incorrect and I am sorry if I have caused any distress to Samuel’s wife.

          I live in Peterborough and so Leicester is not too far away to travel.

          Many thanks in advance for your help.

          Best regards,

          Tony

            Hi Tony;

            You could contact Mnda Connect, explain the situation and ask them to give your email and phone number to Sammy 's wife. They must have their details as they gave a contribution towards it.

            Failing that you could ask the Mnda branch to do the same.

            Love Terry
