Great to hear that, Miranda.
Do you have the free version or did you upgrade and customise?
As an FYI to others, it's also available for Android.
Love Ellie.

I’ve now got my new app for iPhone or iPad - it’s called Speech Assistant and I am very happy with it.

Thanks. I use an iPad so will probably start with that and research Boogie Boards.

I cannot get on with the apps. I use a Boogie board which I find much easier in a face to face situation.

Could this be it I wonder https://apps.apple.com/us/app/text-t...ch/id712104788
Your mum can try it out and if it's no use, she can ask the SLT for better ones.

our SALT has just suggested Mam using an app ‘text to speech’ which is free. I can’t find it. What is the actual name of this one recommended in this thread please? For an iPad. Thanks

Hi Larry,
Windows 7 had quite a good system for operating the computer by speech. It was not perfect but I knew of a Mnd chap who wrote loads using it. Handy to have someone proff read it and alter bits.

Guest repliedI'm with you guys - would love to see England win but after Sunday and Italy I wouldn't want to have my shirt on them.
We will see.

Guest repliedJohn and Rory,
I think Wales go in favourites and as champions, so come on the underdogs, come on England.

Guest repliedLooking at England's performance ( albeit Italy done well) , I do not rate England's chances of winning - although I am a loyal supporter.
I just think the Welsh will be fired up with a home crowd behind them.
Of course I hope for an England victory and a cure for MND very soon !
Some game to look forward to !
Regards
Rory
