    Hi again Jo Jo,

You might find that the MNDA's Benefits Advice Service is helpful:-

    Hi Jo Jo,

That isn't an easy question to answer because some benefits are means tested.

Also, there might be other financial considerations e.g. some people are members of a company pension scheme that offers early retirement on ill-health grounds and/or there might be some financial provision under the terms of their life insurance (if they have any).

    Concerning benefits:-

PIP isn't means tested (and can be applied for whether your partner is working or not) but some other benefits are - there are further details (including links to online Benefits Calculators) on the gov.uk website:-

    Disability and sickness benefits:-

    Benefits Calculators:-

Love and best wishes to you and your family,
