    Chc meeting tomorrow

    Hello all

    Just to let you know we have our home meeting with key professionals tomorrow here at 1100 hours to discuss our chc claim. The checklist went in some time ago.

    So, we hope it goes well. ,We have gathered loads of evidence so we hope we will be ok

    Will let you all know how it goes!

    As for me, I ate my first trifle today and it went down well. Have just been living on water through the peg and thickened fresubin drinks for a few days now. No more bolus feeds because I think that was what affected my tummy. The electric feeding starts tomorrow, so I hope that goes ok

    Onwards and upwards!

    Much love

    Joycie xx

          I was going to pm to ask if you were still in hospital, or are you in hospice now? Confused.com. It will be great to get home with the children. Much love. Joycie. X

            Hi Joycie;

            hope that tummies settled down for good.

            I'm no expert on chc but i think a lot is to do with your medical needs as well. Good luck.

            Love Terry

                      Joycie,
                      Medical needs are key. Personal needs don't come into it. If you could stress your needs for medication down the tube and list every medication you have ever needed to take. Good luck. When answering think about your worst days not your best so that you do not miss out any of your needs.

                          good luck with the chc meeting. My husband's chc meeting was earlier this week and we are waiting for the outcome before he can come home from hospital.
