    Hi Vane,

The MND Connect team might be able to help you with this one. When my partners mum wanted to go away on holiday last year, they were able to give me a list of companies who could provide insurance. You can call them on 08457 626262 or you could e-mail them on [email protected]

    All the best,
    Jenni

Just booked a holiday to cape verde and been a bit worried about insurance. Anyway ive just been on this site https://www.insureforyou.com/ and got a quote, £68 cheapest going upto £83. Ive no idea if this is cheap, but it seems pretty fair to me.

                Hi Vane,
Try to get in touch with your insurer in case of any problem. Many insurance companies are out there in the market. By checking their policy terms and clauses, you will have a clear idea about the do’s and don’ts. Most of the insurance companies give you the opportunity to consult directly with your insurer about your any type of query.

I used World-First to get Mic and I covered as he had ALS and I have High Blood Pressure and High Cholesterol. They actually allowed us to take out an Annual Policy which most other insurers will not. Good Luck Cath

This is going to be tough. Are you currently working somewhere that is covering you, or possibly a partner? Sometimes, employers will offer travel insurance for you. Since they are covering you with a traditional plan, you may get to get around some of the other things. Also, do you think travel insurance would cover something like a shower chair that a hotel may charge you to use?
