    Hi shrew,

I use https://www.allcleartravel.co.uk/ for annual travel insurance. It’s all done online.

          Hi Shrew ,

I’ve not flown with Jet2 but Easyjet, Ryanair, Flybe and Thomas Cook all have the facility to request assistance online. Remember not to pay for your choice of seat as they will be allocated anyway.

          Best wishes,
          Barry

            Hi Shrew

It would be worth contacting these two companies:

We're the Number 1 Rated Travel Insurance provider on Trustpilot. We deliver award winning specialist travel insurance at a reasonable price.

                Hi Shrew,
I might be a little late with this. Sorry ! We have a yearly travel insurance policy with Aviva, which covers European travel. They did ask detailed questions about how MND effects me and it had to be done over the phone but it was around 150 pounds. However I have to get in touch every time I have a hospital/doctors appointment in case things change.( They might get fed up with me alway on the phone )

We have booked online with Jet 2 but then I ring the special assistance line to ensure they know what assistance I need and what equipment I am taking. They do seem to be helpful and efficient.

Have a lovely holiday ... You deserve it !
                Love Debbie x

                      Join the club!

At least my GP seems to know what to look for when he gets the results!

He says he is watching out for liver damage - and having had the required set of blood tests over the first year he's asked me to carry on having one quarterly for the next year to keep track of me really

                      Best to all

Thanks Andy. I was surprised too.
One more question about insurance. Are we better on one policy, or just Mick on the specialist one and a bog standard one for the rest of us?
                        Thanks

                          Hi Shrew,
We were advised to be on the same policy.

I think it's because if Mick had to return home or cancel, which I am sure won't happen, you would want to return with him or cancel too.

                          Good Luck

I agree with Deb, if you are on a separate policy and had to return because of something connected you wouldn’t be covered, when we went to Disney we all went on one policy.
